Opinionated people with a lot of knowledge. They are maritime professionals, have strong characters and usually an interesting background. Their jobs are very cool, they do things the rest of us hardly can imagine.

If you have listened to the Shipping Podcast, you know my voice, you know that I have taken upon myself to get the shipping industry more visible as I became tired about always have to explain to everyone I meet, what the shipping industry is. Everybody is talking about the fact that we should raise public awareness, but no one does anything about it. In July 2015, I started this podcast, which now has become a success.
I have been working within the industry for more than 25 years and I always meet interesting people with a story to tell. Inspired by my shipping friends, and my new friends in the digital space, I decided to spread the word about the coolest industry on the planet and help to raise the profile, all by myself. The shipping industry is a peoples’ business, maybe that’s why I like it so much, and now you can finally listen to the voices from the maritime industry, talking about their passion for their jobs, what they think about the future and what they think about the current state of our industry.
